The Impact Award was awarded in recognition of the impact of FME's longstanding efforts to support the connectivity between academics and business practitioners and it singles out the joint ESRC/FME Fellowship initiative as delivering directly impact to management scholarships, by providing the opportunity to business practitioners to embark on a career change in becoming management academics. After working for several large organisations in the private sector, Colin went to Durham with a strong background in Information Systems and with a network of business contacts, Colin was able to use his skills and experience very effectively in the School. [more] |
