What we do

The Foundation for Management Education (FME) is open to applications for business-related and pragmatic research sponsorship.

Current projects include research by Leeds Business School in international competition, a study by Aston Business School on barriers to learning for the SME community. Aston's SME research has produced a learning network of businesses who work in collaboration on knowledge exchange as part of a micro community within the School.

Those interested in sponsorship should approach Susan Reed at the FME office for further information.

Fellowships

One of the biggest threats to the business community is the lack of quality faculty at UK business schools. The Foundation for Management Education (FME) has undertaken research which highlights that there is a shortage of up to 600 teaching staff in the UK which is a crisis in the making.
